Novaland hires global operator to manage its hotels

Minor, which owns world-renowned brands such as AVANI, Anantara, Tivoli, Oaks, and Elewana, will manage Avani Cam Ranh Resort & Villas, AVANI Vũng Tàu Resort & Spa, AVANI Sài Gòn Hotel, Tivoli Vũng Tàu Resort & Spa, Oaks Phan Thiết Resort, Oaks Cam Ranh, and Nova Hills Villa Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group, said: “Việt Nam is one of the region’s most dynamic economies with tremendous potential for growth in both domestic and international tourism, thanks to a winning combination of cultural attractions and natural beauty. “We look forward to expanding our footprint in Việt Nam with Novaland Group and to creating an exceptional product for our guests.” On the same day Novaland signed an agreement with Greg Norman Golf Course Design Company to build four Greg Norman golf courses in Novaland’s integrated resorts in Cần Thơ, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, Phan Thiết – Bình Thuận at US$100 million.


Along with the country’s tourism growth, Novaland aims to expand into hospitality real estate in major areas with potential for tourism such as Cần Thơ, HCM City, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, Phan Thiết, Cam Ranh, and Đà Lạt. It plans to tie up with local and international operators to create "ideal destinations" to turn these destinations into tourism - leisure – amusement hubs, helping put Việt Nam on the world tourism map.


This year Novaland has operated the Cần Thơ Azerai Resort and Anantara Mũi Resort. It has also begun to sell units in its NovaHills Mũi Né Resort & Villas in Phan Thiết. — VNS
